The WispeRing is a smart sound-reducing addition to our horn mute. The system consist of two felt rings that can be used separately or combined over the mute, allowing you to adjust the level of sound reduction to suit your needs.
In many situations, the large ring already provides sufficient sound reduction for practice use. When additional reduction is required, both rings can be used together, without sacrifising too much playing comfort.
The small ring is also ideal for orchestral performance. Soft passages, such as Dvorak’s Symphony 9 or Mahler’s Symphony 1, can be played with a comfortable mf playing while producing a much softer sound.

De WhispeRing is een slimme geluid-reducerende oplossing, die je gebruikt in combinatie met onze gewone hoorn demper. Het systeem bestaat uit twee vilten ringen die je afzonderlijk of als combinatie over de demper schuift.
In veel gevallen biedt de grote ring al voldoende geluidsreductie om comfortabel te studeren. Is dat nog niet genoeg? Dan gebruik je beide ringen. Zo bepaal je zelf de mate van demping, zonder veel in te leveren op speelcomfort.
De kleine ring is ook ideaal voor orkestspel. Zachte demper-passages, zoals Dvorak’s 9e Symfonie of Mahler’s 1e Symfonie, kan gespeeld mf gespeeld worden terwijl het toch heel zacht klinkt.
